I’ve always been fascinated by the moon even as a young kid. I remember when I was four years old I wanted to become an astronaut. Just because I thought it’s their job to fly to the moon, you know. First time i became aware of SuperMoon was in 2nd year high school (loser i know..) That night i was prepared to take a view of the lunar surface using my magnifying glass (M.G.) (loser again right). Together with my cousins, we waited ‘til the moon was on its biggest and brightest form. The moment I focused the M.G. to the supermoon, I literally almost threw the widget and stepped back. I was freaked out! I wouldn’t say it was not splendid, but it’s just that i realized that I prefer to see it from a great distance with my own eyes without the help of any magnifying lenses.
Since then I always look at the moon with my own natural optics. They may not provide me with the great details of its lunar surface but I still enjoy the beauty of this satellite despite these thousands of miles between us.
Few years later, I’d realized that some things are really meant to be seen from afar. You may not reach it, you may not take a hold of it, you may not even be allowed to see it - but you can always DREAM about it. Dream of it everyday that you could almost taste it. Dream of it because in this world some dreams do come true. Dream until you find that feeling of finally grasping to that ‘one’ thing and ultimately making it your own reality.
